Place: Fairgrounds Pavilion All Pets tricks must be the result of softcode (i.e., not using @force or @emit directly from your keyboard), so get started coding now! NOTE: As Halloween will be so near when the Pet Show will be held all commands may be replaced with ones more appropriate to a more Ghastly theme (eg: Float or Hover instead of Sit). Please use your imagination with this, the more 'Halloweenish' the better. As in the past there will be 3 experience levels to enter your pets in: Novice Your pet must do at least three of the following commands in any (softcoded) way. SIT (Float or Hover, etc) STAY SPEAK (Howl, yowl, etc) ROLLOVER BEG Intermediate You must code a "controller" for your pet (a separate "command object"). Your pet must do four the of 'Novice' tricks (your choice) and one of the commands below. At least one command (of the five total) must be "spoken" (i.e., use @listen or ^listen). FETCH - Pet must fetch some 'object'. This 'object' is usually created specifically for the pet. COME - Pet must 'come' to owner on command from an adjacent room. (To use STAY for this class the pet must 'stay' in a room while the owner leaves; best used in conjunction with 'come') Advanced You must code a "controller" for your pet. All commands must be "spoken" (i.e., use @listen or ^listen); and at least one command must be given as a "pose". Your pet must do ALL of the Novice tricks (using the Intermediate classification for STAY), Intermediate Tricks plus FIND. FIND - Pet must find a person or object in a room other than the one they are currently in, and go to that object or person. This is an overly large Irish Wolfhound. He stands 37" at the shoulder and weights a bit over 150 lbs. His ruff coat is the uncommon, but accepted, color of pure white. This well muscled galloping hound is ever active, constantly roaming around the area with his "ever present" food bowl in his mouth. He wears a wide back nylon collar with his name woven around it in contrasting white. On the collar hangs a silver tag. .............................................................................. Demosthenes says, "Thank you." China says, "er ..this is Wolf. He's a bigger dog." Travis begins yelling, GO CHINA!!!!" China blushes. Demosthenes screams, GO RUSSIA! :) Shapeshifter says, "GO CANADA!" Demosthenes says, "Blame canada." You say, "I can see that. :) And what tricks is Wolf going to be doing for us today?" Wolf temporarily drops his bowl to bark at Grinna. Wolf gazes round indifferently at his surroundings. China says, "well we been working all most all of them, but ..well we'll see. He's a new pet." Wolf romps off indifferently carrying his chewed up food bowl, and circles the area running and bumping into things on his way... then evenually comes to "stand" displaying the bowl in front of China looking up at her questionly. Wolf gazes round indifferently at his surroundings. Grinna grins. China rolls her eyes and repeats the command, "Wolf, sit!" Wolf quickly looks around behind him with his ears perked in a listen mode. Wolf perks his ears forward listening attentivly. Wolf drops his bowl licking his chops then quickly picks it up again China says, "er.. sit Wolf." Wolf tosses his head in the air prominately indicating the presence of the food bowl. China takes matters into her own hands and steps to Wolf's right side to attempt pushing him into postion, as Wolf at the same time side steps his huge body to the right promptly knocking China on her toush. You say, "Ooops, You okay China?" China says, "d'oh.." China says, "yeah.. let's try another. Wolf stay." Wolf gives China a quizzical look then playfully knocks her fully down and lays on top of her, holding China there so she can't move while mouthing his chewed up bowl. You say, "He made sure you stayed." China says, "er wolf... get off." China says, "wolf roll over, off me?" You say, "Must be the optional command." Wolf lounges on top of China and nuzzles his big head under China's chin, keeping her firmly held down with his mighty weight as China flails her arms and legs until finaly she gets rolled over onto her side, now with only a leg and arm still pinned. China says, "Wolf.. get off please. I'll beg" Wolf licks China's face lovingly. China continues to beg, "Wolf ...please let me up." Wolf finally raises slowly to his feet allowing her to get up. Wolf squares himself right in front of China, sits down squarely and then drops his food bowl at her feet. China hrmms, "guess if actions speak louder than words ...you just did." I have a nice interface.. although its not compatible with this mush meaning I developed it for a particular place. and I have a fighter which for most part is compatible with this place although I designed it for a TP(Tiny Plot) elsemush.
