Ambrosia aka Babylon the Great The Beast And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations. SHE IS BABYLON: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. -Rev 17:4-5 BACKGROUND You are Babylon the Great, the Beast, slated to be in charge of the forces of Darkness during the final battle. You have for years been imprisoned by the trickery and will of the archangel Michael, but your confinement will soon be at an end. The power required for the archangels to sound the trumpet that heralds the final battle is too great to allow even the accursed Michael to continue to hold you, and at that moment you will be free to return on the appointed MUSH, and to find the Four Riders that you will lead to victory, or the chosen mortals whose decision you may be able to prevent or pervert. GOALS * Sort out your companions from your foes * Lead the Riders to victory in the final battle * Determine which mortals are chosen to decide in the final contest. Convince them to choose your side. Or maybe you can just destroy them. ABILITIES * Although you can not destroy an angel, you can inconvenience them. If you are in the same room with a character you believe is an angel, you can disrupt their connection to the MUSH (what MUSHers call '@boot'). You must touch them to do this, however, and you must be witnessed touching them. This power also works on principalities (the Riders), but not on mortals or when the Bright Lady is present, and attempts to disrupt connections under these conditions may be reveal your power. To disrupt a connection, inform the GM. RESTRICTIONS * You may not take on your powers and your true aspect until the trumpet is sounded throughout the M*U*S*H. Until then, you can only act as a mortal, though you can attempt to find out who is who. * Your character must be described as carrying a cup or dressed in scarlet and purple.
